Why I started Everfit

Insurance Maxed Out, Intimidated by Spandex & Weight Lifters, and No Place to Go

As a practicing physical therapist for almost 25 years, I have spent time in numerous rehab facilities. I started to realize that we had no place to send our patients once the insurance companies decided they were ready for discharge. Many felt reluctant to join a typical fitness facility, due to the lack of expertise on certain conditions and injuries, and a lack of supervision during the exercise program. Upon further review, I realized that there was a population in need atmosphere in which to exercise, where members could strengthen and condition for every day tasks, such as carrying groceries, walking around the mall, and picking up children. I decided to create a fitness center where anyone can exercise safely and effectively while completing a program that has been fully designed and implemented by a professional training staff. This facility would ensure that members could complete their program with confidence, and would be very successful at achieving desired results. EverFit has evolved into a thriving physical therapy practice designed to treat a large variety of conditions along with a successful fitness center which has become a second home for many members of the community. As we enter our 7th year, we plan to continue our service to our patients and members through further expansion of equipment and services, and development of additional classes and programs in the future.
